Hello, I am Monique Harmsen, consultant & trainer in International (Export) Management & Intercultural Communication. In my work I help people and businesses connect internationally. My life’s motto is ‘Everything you need is Just Outside your comfort zone.’

Xportwise supports (Dutch) SME that want to increase their export turnover, improve international business contacts, define an export strategy and find clients abroad. We provide workshops, training programmes & consultancy for ambitious entrepreneurs who want to expand their business abroad and improve their intercultural communication skills.

The Centre for the Promotion of Imports from developing countries (CBI) is a branch agency of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. I am a freelance external expert and trainer in the field of international trade and development, market intelligence and economic capacity building in developing countries.
